- Merge — Deletes each sliver’s centroid and the common boundaries with an adjacent area. The adjacent area is chosen based on the merge type.

If On, areas with a perimeter2/area ratio larger than the sliver tolerance will be considered slivers. |
| Merge Tolerance |
- Smallest Area — Slivers are merged into the adjacent area with the smallest area.
- Largest Area — Slivers are merged into the adjacent area with the largest area.
- Shortest Area — Slivers are merged into the adjacent area with the shortest boundary.
- Longest Area — Slivers are merged into the adjacent area with the longest boundary.
